Sophie is based at our FAIRFIELD MENTAL HEALTH location.

About Sophie:

We’re very pleased to have Sophie Dempsey on our team as a Clinic Assistant at the Fairfield Mental Health office.

Sophie recently completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Victoria. She is keen to gain experience in mental health as she works toward her future career goals.

In addition to her academic background, Sophie currently volunteers with the Looking Glass Foundation for Eating Disorders.

Through this experience, she has deepened her understanding of the complexities of eating disorders and systemic barriers that impact access to care.

Other past experiences include volunteering in conservation (Verdiazul, Turtle Conservation and Reforestation in Costa Rica), fundraising, and working collaboratively in fast-paced customer service roles. 

Sophie is based at our Fairfield location, helping out our team with client care, a range of projects, and gaining insight into the daily workings of a group practice.
