We are excited to share that Ingrid is returning to our team after completing her practicum at our office, her Master’s in Counselling, and her RCC registration.

Ingrid is accepting new clients at the Fairfield office at the RCC rate of $170 starting mid-October 2026. Direct billing with some major providers is coming soon.

About Ingrid:

Many roads can lead us to counselling. My hope is that you feel welcome to come as you are and be supported throughout this journey.

As a lifelong artist, my interest has been in amplifying beauty, and I see counselling as just another form.

My approach favours somatic (body-based), trauma-informed and imagination-focused modalities.

Humour can be part of the process to heal, but trust and acceptance must be. This is a true collaboration as we work together to discover what is your way forward.

Through cultivating curiosity and creativity (we are all inherently creative), it is possible to expand our knowing of self, move out of old survival states and patterns into more ease and vitality. The therapeutic relationship offers a safe and judgement-free place to do this vital work and it’s an honour for me to hold space in this way.

Often we are focused on what is obvious and visible, but there are worlds within us that are often ignored in our culture that values productivity and purposely dims our imagination. Being human can be messy and hard, but it can also be overwhelmingly beautiful and fascinating.

It takes courage to seek support when you sense the need. Through relationship we can expand what is believed to be possible.

On a personal note:

I thrive when being creative. My go-to’s are painting, sewing, making objects and puppetry.

There’s so much to learn about this strange world that if I am not busy creating then you can usually find me buried in a book or taking a course.

My family (human and fur) keep me endlessly entertained and grounded. Weird is truly a superpower.
