About Caroline (she/her):
Caroline is originally from Ireland. She is down-to-earth and authentic, with a sense of humour.
Education
Caroline has a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Leicester, England. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Registered Psychologist (RPsych) with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
Therapeutic Approach
After a successful career in Education, Caroline moved into Health Care and focused on counselling adults who were struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, loss and other issues.
Caroline enjoys helping people achieve new insights and ways of coping with life’s challenges.
Her therapeutic approaches vary according to her clients’ needs. She is trained in:
Cognitive Behaviour (CBT)
Rogerian and
Integrative Therapy.
Clinical Experience
Caroline has been in private practice while working for Alberta Health Services for nearly twenty years.
She has counselled patients and their family members, private clients, educational, health care and medical professionals. She has also been a contracted Psychologist with the Canadian Armed Forces.
Personal Information
Caroline lives in Oak Bay and is a team member of Fairfield Mental Health and Oak Bay Mental Health in partnership with NuVista.
She is seeing BC clients, as a Registered Clinical Counsellor, in-person at the Oak Bay location and online.
In her spare time, she enjoys sports, travel, and walking the family dog, Scotty.
